A day of fun for the family; come explore the Walnut Creek Greenway
FREE AND OPEN TO PUBLIC!
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Join us at the Walnut Creek Wetland
Center OR the Eliza Pool Park for your adventure along the Walnut Creek
Greenway. Enjoy the live music, food, and family games.
3:30 PM to 5:30 PM: Join us at Lake Johnson Nature Park
(the headwaters of Walnut Creek) where the Friends of Lake Johnson will
host an open house and “friend-raising” party at the boathouse.
You can enjoy free refreshments, live music and learn about the new Nature
Center! Come and help us plan this exciting new opportunity at Lake Johnson.
Raffle at the Lake Johnson Boat House to benefit Nature Education Programs for Lake Johnson.

Partners for Environmental Justice and the City of Raleigh’s Parks
and Recreation Department.
